RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Returns happen and every application is different.  Please review the return policy or speak to a  specialist before buying and returning a compressor or related component. 

 

Check with us to see if there is a restocking fee on the item.  If a payment is made via credit card, a refund less the restocking charge will be returned once the equipment has been returned free and clear of damage/ and or usage.  Please allow 48 hours to process your refund.  If a payment is made via company check, to eliminate any fraudulent transactions, we will hold any refund for 10 days.  Once the deposit and/or payment has been cleared by the proper authorities, a refund less the restocking charge ( If applicable) will be returned once the equipment has been returned free and clear of any damage and/or usage.  Industrial Equipment returned within 10 days of receiving will not be subject to a restocking fee.  Product over 10 days of receiving will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.  Equipment over 120 days will not be eligible for a refund.   Shipping the product back to the seller  is the sole responsibility of the buyer unless it was shipped in seller error.  Special build-to items will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

We  collect business information to help the  customer ensure that they get the best product and service for their application. Business and Personal information will never be shared or sold.  All information received is solely used to ensure the customer has accurate records.

SHIPPING:

The buyer is responsible for shipping if he or she orders in error. 

INSPECTIONS:
Inspections must be done prior to accepting any shipment.  The buyer/receiver is responsible for inspecting for freight damage.  Any damage must be noted on the BOL prior to accepting the equipment with the carrier and a claim must be filed as soon as possible.  If the equipment is damaged beyond repair, we recommend refusing the freight.   The seller/shipper is not responsible for inspections, the buyer/receiver is.   If you have any questions when receiving freight, please call us directly at 1.877.631.9058

I purchased a compressor and need to change the voltage or pressure settings?

Please call us immediately at 877.631.9058.  If we have NOT shipped this out yet then we will change this for your prior to shipping.  If this has already shipped out the customer is responsible for shipping back to Modern  Compressor Sales and return shipping back to the customer.
